Learning from Experience
We have been working with leadership and organizational culture for the past 30 years. Recently we have been engaged in R&D around the issues of how organizational culture either hinders or helps companies execute their sustainabiltiy strategies. As we began the third round of pilots of our culture assessment instrument, we noticed some interesting patterns in one area of the survey assessment: how companies address ongoing learning within the organization. We decided to expand the assessment to the more general question of how companies learn from experience. We are casting a wide net to get an answer to this question and will publish the results.
